"Really dynamic! Promotes reflection! Really interesting topic.  It’s pretty clear and precise, easy to understand in the context of kinesiology practice. ''

Utilisation de l’entretien motivationnel en kinésiologie - September 23 and 24, 2022

Live webinar by Zoom

Motivational interviewing is a recognized and effective intervention approach to help a person adopt positive health behaviours. This workshop is aimed at kinesiologists looking to help their clients find and maintain the motivation needed to increase their physical activity practice. The key concepts of motivational interviewing will be discussed in relation to the role of the kinesiologist and the challenges encountered in their practice. Practical activities will allow participants to experiment with intervention strategies aimed at exploring a person’s motivation for the practice of physical activity and guiding them in the development of a realistic action plan adapted to their needs. Throughout the workshop, practical tools and examples will be presented to kinesiologists to facilitate the use of motivational maintenance in their practice.
