ACCREDITED MEMBER

The accredited member is a member who holds a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and has completed the Federation's accreditation process.

  • Access to professional liability insurance *
  • Access to general commercial insurance *

A member already covered by professional liability insurance, covering his acts of a kinesiologist, under the term kinesiologist, may choose the category of Accredited member - other insurance than Prolink while providing his evidence of insurability (or evidence of employability at CIUSSS/CSSS/Hospital) and by ckecking the QKF's discharge of responsibility.

ACCREDITED MEMBER- POSTGRADUATE STUDENT

The accredited member-postgraduated student is an accredited member who is enrolled full-time in a postgraduate program or post-doctoral degree in kinesiology or physical activity science.

STUDENT MEMBER

The student member is a student enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in kinesiology recognized by the Federation. He or she may join the Federation free of charge.

PROFESSOR MEMBER

The professor member is a member who teaches kinesiology at the university level as a professor or instructor.

  • Access to the benefits and services of an accredited member (except for issuing receipts.
  • Possibility to be part of the Federation's expert committee

  • Possibility to display its scientific publications
  • Benefits from a reduced contribution

AFFILIATED MEMBER

An affiliated member is a member with a kinesiology degree, that doesn’t actively practice in the field of Kinesiology.

MEMBER ON PARENTAL LEAVE

A member on parental leave is an accredited member of the QKF with proof of parental leave at the moment of the registration renewal.
