Insurances

Professional Liability Insurance (for accredited member)

Insurance Brochure

We have developed, with the Canadian Kinesiology Alliance, a policy covering errors and omissions that may occur in your professional practice up to $ 2,000,000 per year ($ 1 million, $ 3 million, or $ 5 million coverage are also available). To take advantage of this insurance, you will receive by email the purchase process as soon as your accreditation is validated by the Federation. Note that this insurance is mandatory.

* Members wishing to subscribe to the "Accredited Member Without Insurance" membership fee will be required to complete and submit the Professional Liability Release form. Note that proof of insurance must be provided to be exempted from that of the QKF. Members working in CSSS / hospitals and who are covered can provide proof of employment.

Annually, many of you change your membership category when you renew (affiliate member, parental leave, member without insurance). We would like to remind you that it is imperative to inform your broker Prolink Inc Insurance Group of this change of status. All the details are in the contract.

Also, generic QKF responses that relate to your kinesiologist file do not necessarily take into account your particular case in insurance. It is therefore important to contact the experts in the field.
